Great recipes as always. Hambraga! Excellent with Japanse tastes and sauce. No daikon here in Romania, but I use bigger radish and try to find the more spicy ones, which not only taste water. I recommend S&B chili powder, ichimi togarashi, and their other blends of chili powder, they are addictive! Also their curry cubes are excellent for Japanese curry, which is totally different from Indian or Thai. Keema curry is a fav. The tonteki pork is very good and simple, love the presentation with cabbage. Also slow cooked beef for sushi! Excellent not only for sushi, but also for sandwiches and with potato salad. For a picknick in the park. The last dish with chicken is nice too, a bit like the nabes we make at home. I like to add enoki mushrooms. Arigato again for your efforts and videos!
I have a sous vide water circulator for low temperature cooking. I bought it on sale a few years ago and it is one of my favorite things I’ve bought in ages. I have cooked my steak like you did here and it is quite tasty. I really love using it to cook hard squash (pumpkin). I cut the hard squash (pumpkin) into slices, then I put the slices into a plastic bag with a couple tablespoons of butter and a tablespoon or two of curry powder. Then cook at 185F (85C) for 1.5 hours. If you like, you can pan fry the squash (pumpkin) slices in a hot pan to add extra flavor and a little crisp texture on the outside.
