Whoever made this missed the point of “smashing burgers”. Yes, there is a burger where you smash it, but only right when you put it on the flattop. What the other comments are referring to, is smashing a classic burger after it’s been flipped, therefore pressing the juices out. Look at the where the comments are coming from: if the video is about a smash burger, then the commenter(s)’ an idiot, if it’s about a regular style/thick burger, then the chef’s the idiot.
