My husband and I have a disagreement about soup being a meal. I feel like it is, a good soup with bread is fine for me. If I just served him soup, he would be asking where the rest of the meal is.

Soup to me is definitly a meal and a warm embrace I love soup….My grandmother made the most AWESOME chicken soup and Beef bone soup with the marrow in the bones ….I never had this soup in Mexico…My husband (RIP) was from a small villiage in Piaxtla Puebla Mexico in the mountains I have had and made many of his mothers recipes Psole was always a fave My daughters still make certain things they learned from when we would go….(tamales, Mole , tortillas adobo red and green etc) my son goes to his sisters when they cook Mexican I dont really do certain foods anymore but I make certain things for my son but convert them to Keto/Lowcarb which I, my husband and son are on and my daughter also converted some recipes because they follow Keto also its hard but can be done

I put a wet paper towel or cloth next to where I’m chopping the onions to prevent tears. The compounds that irritate your eyes go towards the water in the closer towel instead of the water in your eyes.
