  • ALVIN put the bag in water to push out and displace air pockets then seal zipper and clip to side of water bath ……

  • He made a simple compound butter…if you want to make a complex compound butter…do.all of the steps that he did….BUT LOW HEAT IN MELTED BUTTER AND INFUSE YOUR FLAVORS IN THE BUTTER….its worth it

  • Its a skewed test Alvin, in order to determine the best sous vide machine BOTH meats should have been sealed in the vacuum sealed bags OR both in the Ziploc bag method. Please re do the test with the EXACT SAME methods on BOTH steaks to provide a true and accurate test of the machines. I am giving a thumbs down for this.

  • Right. Lol@.U.again.

Or you could just marinade in the fridge for a few hours in a ZIP-style bag or over night, toss it on the grill or hot cast-iron skillet and be done w a dinner in less than 20 minutes, cuz the marinating time doesn’t count.

Really? We expect better from ewwtube channels, especially cooking channels. Ugh.

    … and double UGH.

Just fire up the backyard grill, and try to forget the lame yt’ers.

    Stay home,
    stay safe,
    stay alive, everyone!

  • You shouldnt use cheapo zip lock bags for Sous Vide, they should be the freezer type bags that are BPA free. Uhh you can use the water displacement method to get more air out of the zip lock bag.

  • Wtf is that hair Alvin

  • There is only one master on YouTube when it comes to sous vide…. Guga
    ‘Sous vide everything’
