One time I totally messed up baking blueberry muffins – I was doubling the recipe but halfway through forgot, and stopped doubling ingredients, so some things were twice as much as the original recipe for and some things weren’t enough… and when they came out of the oven they tasted fabulous but were extremely heavy and dense… I had promised some friends I would share and I was embarrassed to share these, but they insisted… and then proceeded to tell me they were the best blueberry muffins they’d ever had and to make more and do whatever I did wrong, again!!! Of course I couldn’t replicate it since I wasn’t entirely sure where/what I messed up but I was glad to know it turned out ok anyway 🤣
