  For some reason, I thought you were going to put corn in it…..😅 Now I understand and it looks mighty good. I bet it’s a lot more tasty than regular baked cornbread. Thanks Tammy!

  Hi Tammy…my mom made it like this the only thing she did different…to the oil a spoon of leftover bacon grease. Yum,Lol

  Granny used to always put fresh sweet corn kernels in it!! And that is how I do it with Tammy’s recipe! 🙂

  We’re these called Corn Dodgers a long time ago?? I was watching the original “True Grit” western movie with John Wayne and he explained that he was carrying “corn dodgers” in his saddlebags for them to eat. Whatever it was, it was round.
